These spacers prevent collisions between your keycaps and switches while typing.
All choc switches were designed so that the stem can travel beyond the top surface of the switch when pressed. This means that if the keycap is not designed with a spacing mechanism to prevent it, the keycap can hit the top case of the switch when typing.
FKCaps have produced a self-adhesive sticker that can be either stuck to the keycap or the switch and adds around 0.5mm to the height of the keycap. This small height difference allows typing without your keycaps hitting the switches.
Each pack contains 48 self-adhesive spacers.
NOTE: Your Zerowriter Ink keycaps do not require these spacers if you use standard choc switches, but you might find them necessary if you use Ambients silent choc switches.
