Zerowriter Fold

The Zerowriter Fold is the next step for e-ink word processors. We've taken everything we've learned while building the Zerowriter Ink, and put it in to designing our first clamshell product.

For Zerowriter Ink owners, we're also working on a Clamshell Kit that converts your Ink into a fold format.

We've learned a lot about production, manufacturing, and logistics. We are changing some of our processes to have more control over the production cycle.

Zerowriter Fold is estimated to be fulfilling in Q4, 2026:

Software:

• Zerowriter Fold is built on the open source Zerowriter Core, originating from Zerowriter Ink
• With open source software, the community can further build and develop features for the Zerowriter Fold - forever.
• Speaking your language: when Zerowriter Fold ships, Zerowriter Core will have broad support for non-latin languages such as Korean, Japanese, Chinese, etc via UTF8 support
• Robust file management and filesystems alongside full USB support
